So Jesus explained, “I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself. He does only what he sees the Father doing. Whatever the Father does, the Son also does.
Parenting is a calling by God; a call to nurture a human that carries the nature of God. It is a high calling to serve humanity starting in your little corner (your home).
Parenting is indeed a beautiful call that we parents would give an account of and to be effective in this call, is to model after the One who initiated the act of parenting. It is to depend, trust and build a personal relationship with Him to enable you to parent this gift of His nature carefully and effectively. Do not forget every child is unique and on earth for an assignment.
Our responsibility as parents is to plug them back to their Creator, God, and depend on Him to lead us to raise this gift well unto Him.
Kingdom parents do not raise children by the cultural standards around them. We raise our children by the KINGDOM CULTURE THAT SUPERSEDES all other cultures and the only way to operate in this Culture is to be saved and have a personal relationship with God.
Effective Parenting can only be modelled after God, the Initiator of the act of parenting.
